Close to home

Close to home is about embracing the cactus. Its an intimate look at what stops us from taking the climate crisis into our hearts and hands - and then what can happen when we do.

You are not alone if you are worried about climate change but feel it’s too big a problem for you to do something about. 80% of Australians are concerned about the crisis - and here we all are; like kangaroos in the headlights.

In this work we risk peering into the dark and seeing the light - diving into moments that ‘changed everything’ about how someone sees themselves in a climate changed world, we also hear from social researcher Dr Rebecca Huntley on what shapes public opinion about the crisis, and track our small town’s struggle to acknowledge we’ve got a climate problem.
